With a population pushing 13,000 residents, Cochrane, Alberta
has been dubbed one of the fastest growing communities in Canada.
Although this unique, small town is on the rise, one still has
the feel of a welcoming community built on its strong foundation
of western heritage.
Visit downtown Cochrane for a feel of the 'old west' as you stroll
down interlocking brick sidewalks. With a recently revitalized
downtown core, this community blends the ambiance of vintage streetscapes
with the diversity of today's businesses and services capturing
the mystic of all the unique and interesting shops. In the summer
of 2003, Cochrane celebrated its Centennial birthday (100 years!)
